Classical Ballet Division

​

The Classical Ballet Division offers four levels of instruction (Ballet I - Ballet IV). Auditions are required for admission and placement is based on age, strength, physical development.

​

Girls attire: black leotard, pink or flesh-colored tights, pink or flesh-colored ballet shoes, and secured away from the face or in a bun.

Boys attire: black shorts/black tights, white t-shirt, black ballet shoes, and hair neat.

Ballet I (Ages 7+)

Beginner/Intermediate Level students develop a solid foundation of classical ballet vocabulary that emphasizes proper posture and alignment and increased strengthening of the legs and feet. Students in these classes also develop and increase their sense of artistry.  

One weekly class required.

Ballet II (Ages 8+)

Intermediate Level students develop a solid foundation of classical ballet vocabulary that emphasizes proper posture and alignment and increased strengthening of the legs and feet. Students in these classes also develop and increase their sense of artistry. Intermediate Level classes are best suited for children ages 8 to 14.

Two weekly classes required. 

 

Ballet III (By Placement Only)

Intermediate Level students develop a solid foundation of classical ballet vocabulary that emphasizes proper posture and alignment and increased strengthening of the legs and feet. Students in these classes also develop and increase their sense of artistry. 

Three weekly classes required.

Ballet IV (By Placement Only)

Ballet IV students continue their training in the foundations of classical ballet, in addition to the beginning of training on pointe. In addition to ballet, students will also take a weekly Jazz Class. 

Four weekly classes required.
